PERU, IN- Throughout the Thanksgiving holiday, the Indiana State Police Peru District conducted a holiday patrol across seven counties in the district. From November 22-25, troopers stayed busy to ensure motorists safely made it to their destination. The holiday enforcement patrols resulted in the following: 236 Traffic Stops, 26 Calls for Service, 15 Criminal Arrests, 1 Traffic Crash, 4 OWI Arrests, and 1 Pursuit. The Indiana State Police is committed to making the Indiana roadways safer during the holiday season. We continue to remind the public to designate a sober driver or utilize ride-sharing companies. To report a suspected impaired driver, please call 9-1-1. When you call, be prepared to describe the vehicle, location, and direction of travel. |
