Jaca M. Story, 48, of Marion, passed away peacefully in her home at 9:00 am on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. She was born in Wabash, Indiana, on April 13, 1976, to Arden Boxell and Betty (Pulley) Andrews.
Jaca graduated from Huntington High School in 1994. She continued her education and eventually obtained her Master’s in Medical Organization from Trine University. She worked as a medical assistant at Marion Family Practice. She grew up in Bippus, Indiana, and was an avid fan of Flynnville Train, whose music brought her comfort in her final moments. Jaca loved attending concerts, playing soccer during her high school years, watching Komets hockey, and spending time with her beloved grandbabies.
Jaca is survived by her significant other, Jason Brown of Marion; her father, Arden (Tish) Boxell of Crothersville; her mother, Betty (late Bobby) Andrews of Cookville, TN; her son, Devin (Amber) Diehl of Marion; her daughters, Rhiannon Charren-Diehl of Boston, MA, and Kaylee Story of Van Buren; her sisters, Jamie (Randy) Reed of Cave City, KY, Angie McPherson of Crothersville, Brittany Shenefield, and Audrey (Tony) Brooks of Crothersville; and her granddaughters, Savannah Diehl and Ivory Diehl.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold (MaryAnna) Pulley and Rex (Janice) Boxell.
In accordance with Jaca’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
