Jack Dale Kiger, 74, of rural North Manchester, Indiana, died at 1:05 pm, Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Coventry Meadows in Fort Wayne. He was born on August 26, 1950, in Nevada, Missouri, to Francis Edward Kiger and Marjorie Juanita (Caton) Lyon.
Jack was a 1968 graduate of Truman High School in Independence, Missouri, and attended Penn Valley Community College. He served in the US Army, and retired from the Ford Motor Company. Jack married Tammara Brashear in Sugar Creek, Missouri on June 17, 1978. He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Wabash. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tammara Kiger of North Manchester, two sons; Joshua Shane (Betsy) Kiger of North Manchester, and Jeremy Wayne (Christina) Kiger of Gower, Missouri, seven grandchildren; Elizabeth Kiger of North Manchester, Colin Kiger of Lees Summit, Missouri, Katherine Kiger of North Manchester, Owen Kiger of Lees Summit, Charlee Kiger of North Manchester, Hudson Kiger and Maverick Kiger, both of Oak Grove, Missouri, brother, Troy (Katie) Kiger of Raymore, Missouri, and two sisters; Joy (Art) Fitzgerald of Bristol, Mississippi, and Julie Boone of Liberty, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Angie Kiger; two brothers, Randall “Butch” Kiger, and Glen Kiger; and three sisters, Rhonda Farmer, Linda Steele, and Kathy Zogelman.
Graveside services and burial will be Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Newton Burial Park, Nevada, Missouri. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
