Jesse Everett Duncan

Jesse Everett Duncan, 42, of Peru, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 due to a car accident.

He was born on March 2, 1982 in Tipton County, Indiana to Dion Patrick Duncan and Deabra “Debbie” Jean (Morrison) Begley. Jesse was a graduate of Maconaquah High School in the Class of 2000. He went on to join the United States Navy. He was currently employed at Hoosier Pro Electric LLC as an electrician.

Jesse was very involved in his son’s lives. He served as a coach on the various different team sports that the boys played. Most recently, Jesse earned his referee license for wrestling. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, disc golfing, mushroom hunting, turkey shooting, drag racing, and bowling. Jesse loved going to the beach in Florida.

He is survived by his mother, Debbie (Gary) Begley of Peru, Indiana; sons, Hunter and Hudson Duncan of Peru, Indiana; 1 sibling Alyxandria Dax Duncan of Albany, Indiana; step-sister Laura (Chad) Ramer; and step brother Jason Begley. Also surviving is grandmother, Donna Morrison of Kokomo, Indiana; the mother of his children, Bethany Duncan of Twelve Mile, Indiana, uncle John (Barbara) Morrison of Goldsmith, Indiana; and aunt Tracy (Dave) Bugher of Kokomo, Indiana. Jesse is survived by his girlfriend, Ashley Dwigans and her 3 children: Jake, Malee, and Sonnie. He is also survived by his nephew, Levi Ramer, several cousins and many friends that he enjoyed spending time with.

Jesse is preceded in death by his father, Grandma and Grandpa Duncan, Grandpa John Morrison, 3 uncles, and 1 aunt.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 4:00pm-6:30pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. A funeral service will follow at 6:30pm with Pastor Bill Sheets officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Alaynah and Andrew Burkett for being a big part of Jesse’s life and family.
