Jingle Jubilee Kicks Off the Holiday Spirit in Downtown Wabash

WABASH, IN—Returning to Downtown Wabash, Ind., decades-old holiday kick-off event Jingle Jubilee will be on Friday, Nov. 15 from 4-8 p.m. The holiday event is free and open to families and people of all ages, inspiring cheerful hometown holiday spirit. Guests are invited to enjoy downtown shopping, holiday lights, a live nativity scene, hot cocoa, live reindeer, Santa and so much more. Jingle Jubilee is provided by Downtown Wabash, Inc.

 

The competitive Jingle Jubilee stamping map will award $1,800 in Jingle Bucks between 24 winners. Jingle Bucks are treated as cash vouchers and are eligible for spending at businesses in Downtown Wabash. More than twenty businesses will participate in the Jingle Jubilee stamping map frenzy for one night only: Nov. 15. Jingle Bucks winners will be announced on Downtown Wabash, Inc.’s Facebook and Instagram as well as on air on 105.9 The Bash radio the following week on Friday, November 22nd at 8:45 a.m.

 

More than just the Jingle Jubilee stamping map will be on the lineup for this event. More holiday season festivities include:

  • Annual lighting of the Wabash County Courthouse promptly at 7 p.m. Santa will arrive on the Wabash Fire Department firetruck, sponsored by Bachelor Creek Church
  • Holiday shopping specials and holiday open houses at downtown businesses
  • Live nativity scene on Miami Street performed every thirty minutes, with Santa, holly jolly treat-mix station and hot cocoa station. Miami Street activities are sponsored by Bachelor Creek Church
  • People’s Choice Award voting for the Best Holiday Window Display in Downtown Wabash
  • Free rides on the Visit Wabash County’s Trolley No.85
  • Visit with Father Christmas in Cook’s Cabin at Paradise Spring Historic Park
  • Lights at Paradise holiday displays will light up in the evening hours of Jingle Jubilee
