John Allen “Jack” Fanucci, 66, of North Manchester, Indiana, died at 3:23 pm, Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the Renal Care Center in Huntington. He was born on December 31, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, to Alfred and Pearl (Krause) Fanucci.
Jack married Alice “Jennie” Turner-Collins in Chicago on February 23, 2017. He retired from the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad in Blue Island, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed spending time at his Wisconsin lake house and was a Chicago Bears and Chicago Blackhawks fan, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Jennie Fanucci of North Manchester; four children, Jedediah Turner-Collins of North Manchester, Jorden Turner-Collins, Clare (Adrian) Flores, and Lydia Turner-Collins; and two granddaughters, Mila Flores and Ariana Flores, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters and brother, Lynn Hyzny of Plano, Illinois, Jim (Patricia) Fanucci of Bellingham, Washington, and Dell (Joe) Brennan of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Mick Fanucci, Conrad Fanucci, and Patrick Fanucci.
There will be a Celebration of Life get together in Chicago, at a later date. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main Street, North Manchester, Indiana 46962.
