Julia M. “Mary” Leon

Julia M. “Mary” Leon, age 64, went in peace to be with her Lord, while surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday June 12, 2024. She was born on November 16, 1959, in San Angelo, Texas, the daughter of the late Daniel and Maria De Los Angeles Galvan Sr.  Julia and her family moved to Marion from Texas in 1970. She married Ruben Leon on November 20, 1980, and he survives.

Julia was a member of Iglesia Arca De Salvacion. Memories like these and many more will be cherished forever.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters: Blanca Leon, Yolanda (James) Nash, and Diamantina (Cruz) Leon, one son: Ruben (Olivia) Leon Jr, five brothers: Daniel (Lina) Galvan Jr., Robert (Tina) Galvan, Elias (Lupe) Galvan, Ricardo Galvan, and Tony Galvan, one brother-in -law: Roberto DeLeon, eighteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
