Julie Aileen Kelch, 59, Wabash, passed away at 11:27 am on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, December 12, 1964, to Phillip and Norma “Babe” (Sample) Whitton.
Julie was a special gift from God and brought love and light in a dark world. She was a precious joy who will be missed by all who knew her. Julie was cared for by the staff at both Carey Services and Vernon Manor throughout her life and her family is grateful for their investment in her life.
Survivors include her mother, Norma “Babe” Whitton of Ormond Beach, FL; brother, Duane Kelch of Indianapolis; half-sisters, Lori Kelch of Marion, Kellie Whitton of Ormond Beach, FL; half-brother, Ricky Brown; step-brothers, Greg (Mary Jane) Whitton of Noblesville, Kevin (LuCrista) Whitton of Port Orange, FL, Scott Whitton of Huntington; as well as many extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip D. Kelch; step-father, David Lee Whitton; paternal grandparents, Virgil (Vera) Kelch; maternal grandparents, Margaret (Earl) Porter; maternal grandpa, Lee Roy Sample; and brother, Ronald “Ronnie” Kelch.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Julie’s life will begin at 12:00 pm.
