Junior Stone, 57, Marion, passed away at 11:35 am on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Marion Health. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, July 15, 1967, to Charles and Mamie (Fisher) Stone. On December 23, 1985, he married Treasa Riddle and she survives.
Junior attended Marion High School and owned and operated A Cut Above Tree Service. He loved his ’65 fastback Mustang and going to TJ Maxx. He loved to cook and enjoyed good food. He loved going to game night on Saturday playing Aggravation. Most of all, he loved his kids and grandkids. He had a big heart and enjoyed being outdoors. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed being in his pole barn or spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Treasa Stone of Marion; daughters, Kimberley (Joey) Denney, Jenny (Jesse ) Stone, Tiffany Stone, Laci (Jayden) Stone; grandchildren, Ah’Bri-El, Ari-El, Felix, Jo-El Junior, Alanna, Hayden, Jayden, Carmon, Brylee, Xavior; special nephews, Caleb Emry, Elijah Marin; friends, Cash Suddarth, Brandon Cottrell of Marion; his 3 dogs, Valentina, Poppy, Rott; and his granddog, Augie
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mamie Stone.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Junior’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Horseman officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
