Larry Dean Gressley

Larry Dean Gressley, 83, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 4:00 pm, Friday, May 31, 2024, at his home. He was born on April 27, 1941, in Huntington, Indiana, to Ora and Viola (Biddle) Gressley.

Larry was a graduate of Huntington High School. He married Teresa Maxwell in Huntington on March 22, 1986. Larry and Teresa owned and operated Wabash Poly Clean for 11 years, he was an over the road semi truck driver for several years, and retired from United Technologies in Huntington. He was a former member of the Wabash Moose Lodge. Larry raised Angus Beef cattle and was a member of the American Breeding Society. He loved raising angus beef cattle, and even took classes at Purdue University to learn how to care for them. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, woodworking, mowing and baling hay, and raising his cattle. 

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Gressley of Wabash, two sons, Jeremy (Michelle) Gressley of Denver, Indiana, and Jeffrey (Rita) Gressley of Lincolnville, Indiana, granddaughter, Cassie (Sean) Brinneman of Fort Wayne, Indiana, one great-grandson, two great-granddaughters, brother, Robert (Karen) Gressley of Huntington, sister-in-law, Phyllis Gressley of Warsaw, Indiana, and several nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Teresa Gressley, grandson, Cameron Gressley, and brother, Ronald Gressley.

Private graveside services and burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
