Larry Raymond Chain

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Raymond Chain, a beloved husband, father and brother. Larry, born on February 6, 1964, in Marion, Indiana, to Glenn Harold “Bud” and Beverly Louise (Jenkins) Chain. He brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. Larry departed from this world on June 18, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Larry shared a beautiful life journey with his devoted spouse, Patricia “Patti” Tully-Chain, whom he married on May 27, 1989. Together, they raised their children, daughter Allie and son Dane, with love and dedication. He took immense pride in his work as a floor covering specialist and co-owned T&L Floor Covering. His craftsmanship graced the floors of many homes and businesses around the Wabash area, showing dedication and skill in all he did.
A graduate of Northfield High School, Class of 1982, Larry was known for his strong work ethic, resilience, and unwavering support for his family. Beyond his professional pursuits, Larry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He treasured moments spent fishing, hunting, caring for his yard, and roaring down the open road on his cherished Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
Larry was a member of the Wabash Moose Lodge 1195 and had a passion for raising Rottweilers. His love for classic automobiles was evident in his ownership of a 1953 Ford show truck, affectionately named Tasmanian Devil. His spirit for adventure and his infectious laughter will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The loving memory of Larry Raymond Chain will be forever cherished by his wife, Patricia “Patti” Tully-Chain, North Manchester; daughter, Allie Green, North Manchester; son, Dane (Amber) Foust, North Manchester; brother, Glenn H. Chain, Wabash; sister, Glenda Chain, Peru; and three grandchildren, who had a special place in his heart. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn “Bud” and Beverly Chain; and his sister, Michelle Chain.
A gathering to celebrate Larry’s life will be held later this summer.
