Leo Coleman Dennison, 88, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 3:02 pm, Sunday, November 3, 2024, at his home. He was born on February 12, 1936, in Johnson County, Kentucky, to James and Maxie (Daniel) Dennison and was the last of his 13 siblings to die.
Leo married Madge Bush in Wise, Virginia on September 2, 1969. He worked as a security guard at 84 Lumber Company, and also worked at Wagners in Wabash, and retired from United Technologies in North Manchester. Leo enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, flower and vegetable gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Madge Dennison of Wabash; two children, Lewis (Kum) Bush and Elaine (Charles) Mosley, both of Wabash; six grandchildren, Michelle (Craig) Kirby, Christy (Chad) Maple, and Rodney (Karina) Lynn, all of Wabash, Chuck (Michelle) Mosley of Somerset, Indiana, Delecia McBride of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Dustin (Tena) Delatorre of Resaca, Georgia; six great-grandchildren, Briana Joseph, Caden Maple, Laney Maple, Gracie Mosley, Ruby Mosley, and Emilia Lynn; and three great great granddaughters, Kendall, Paisley, and Harper Joseph. He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Marilyn Lynn and Donna Delatorre; great-grandson, Brandon Maple; seven brothers, and six sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Tim Webb officiating. Entombment will be in Chapel of Remembrance Mausoleum, at Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash. Friends may call 4-7 pm Wednesday, at the funeral home.
