WABASH, IN- The City of Wabash, in partnership with the Wabash County Museum, officials announce the date for the third annual Lights at Paradise holiday event on December 16 from 5 to 8 PM and is free and open to the public. The Lights at Paradise light display opens to the public on November 17 and can be enjoyed through the new year.
Lights at Paradise is an initiative started by Mayor Scott Long and the City of Wabash as an opportunity to bring some holiday magic right to your backyard. “
"Lights at Paradise has grown into a beautiful partnership between the City, its residents, and The Wabash County Museum. It will be thrilling to see the changes that were made this year," said Mayor Scott Long. "I am grateful for the vision and volunteers who continue to build upon this event."
Lights at Paradise complements existing events like Jingle Jubilee and December First Friday. This event is a fantastic opportunity to enhance the downtown Historical District and create even more opportunities for families and friends to gather for free during the holiday festivities.
“Paradise Spring Historical Park is a great asset that the City gets the privilege of using throughout the year for many kinds of events,” said Mayor Scott Long. “The park's paved walkways, log cabins, and landscaping in the warmer months make it a great asset, introducing a festive atmosphere with lights will undoubtedly inspire people to appreciate this historic property during the holiday season and colder months."
The Lights at Paradise Committee is grateful to all of the sponsors who helped this dream of Mayor Long’s come alive for the community to enjoy.
