Linda L. Levensky, 84, Gas City, passed away at 6:53 pm on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Wesleyan Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Gas City, Indiana, on Monday, February 19, 1940, to Frank and Opal (Byers) Hillman. On September 26, 1959, she married Ronald J. Levensky and he preceded her.
Linda graduated from Mississinewa High School class of 1958. She worked at Owens-Illinois and was later the owner of The Beef Station in Marion for 15 years retiring in 2006. She was a member of First Christian Church – Gas City.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Mark) Hamilton of Upland; daughter, Virginia (Hoke) Benfield of Leesburg; son, Ronald (Kelly) Levensky of Gas City; grandchildren, Stephanie Levensky of Gas City, Lynde McCullar of Marion, Kiley McCullar of Jonesboro, Matthew McCullar of Westfield, Braden Hamilton of Gas City, Heather (Jeremy) Bienz of Fort Wayne, Heath Benfield of Carmel; great grandchildren, Xavier Heinz, Chance King, Gannon King, Layton King, Ella McCullar, Carson McCullar, Kalea Hamilton, Kamilla Hamilton, Jaxton Campbell, Harper Bienz, Rayna Bienz, and Zander Bienz; sister, Norma (Richard) Starkey of Vacaville, CA; brother-in-law, Richard May; and special friend, Leroy Smith.
She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Opal Hillman; husband, Ronald J. Levensky; brother, Steve Hillman; sister, Dixie May.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Linda’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Nowell Hardin officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
