Susie lived on the west coast of Florida for many years before returning to her native Indiana for her “golden years.” She was extremely proud to have owned several renowned salons in St. Pete and Homosassa, Florida. Susie was a passionate person who dearly loved anything living; that was evident in the way that she invested her entire life in serving others. Her greatest joy was to help others thrive- be it plants, people, or pets. She always saw the best in every person, and situation. She was an avid reader, and had a great interest in ancestry. Susie was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and enjoyed keeping up to date with Fox News. Susie loved flowers, her family, and her cats. She will be missed by all who had the wonderful opportunity to love, and to be loved by her.

Susie is survived by her husband of ten years, Ed Harris of Marion; her children, Brett Corbin, Lisa (Bruce) Kaufman, Gina (Michael) Jones, and Jon Eaton; grandchildren, Chelsea (Jason) Eldreth, Nicholas Kaufman, Madison Kaufman,  Roman Jones, Christian Jones, and Anna Jones; great-grandchildren, Kylie Eldreth, Easton  Eldreth, and  Maci Kaufman; step-children, Pete “Butch” Harris, and  Lisa (Greg) Bott; step-grandchildren, Sara Harris, Jakob (Gabrielle) Harris, Emma (Easton) Hawk, Adam Bott, Zachary Brown, and Rachel (Shane) Hammond; step-great-grandchildren, Theodore Harris, Elliot Bott, Elliot Hawk, Ramona Hawk, and another on the way, along with many other loving friends and family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Jimmy Harris and Jenny Ann Zweck, and step-daughter, Jennifer Brown.

Burial will be in Fountains Memorial Park, Homosassa, Florida.  Friends may call Friday, March 14, 2025, 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the funeral home.
