Lindalu “Lindy” Trosper Buteau

Lindalu "Lindy" Trosper Buteau, 73, Marion, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne.  She was born to Thelma and Perry Trosper on June 2, 1951, and adopted by Mildred and Tommy Buteau in 1958.

Lindalu graduated from Marion High School and Indiana Business College.  She worked for Roberds Manufacturing and the City of Marion in the Controller's Office for 33 years and loved her job.  She was the past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 10 and member of Amvets Post 5.

Lindalu's favorite things were Gizmo (her Siamese), crocheting, especially going to ball games, Bingo, Mexican food, peanut butter shakes, reading, watching westerns, and painting on her iPad.

She leaves behind her sister and twin, Cindasu Buteau, and brother, William Perry Trosper, Jr.

She is preceded in death by both sets of parents; her brothers, Chuck, Ted, Fred, Billy Ray, Chester, Tony, and Danny; sisters, Mary, Shelby, Helen, and Alice; plus many dear special friends, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive visitors from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Lindalu's life will begin at 11:30 am with Pastor Lucas Binkerd officiating.  Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.

Lindy will be missed dearly by sister Cinda, Barb, and Diane.
