Lisa Glasscock, 56, of Fairmount, passed away at 1:21 am on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Indiana University Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Sunday, November 3, 1968, to Vina (Hasty) Rainey.
Lisa graduated from Marion High School and was the deli and bakery manager for many years at Lance’s New Market. She loved sunbathing by the pool, gardening, and spending time with her nine “fur babies”. She enjoyed crafting, making holiday decorations out of wood, and creating flowers and memorial blankets for people. Lisa loved her family deeply and made friends everywhere she went.
Lisa is survived by her son, Austin Glasscock; daughters, Lisha (Jareth Chism) Glasscock, Deana Glasscock, and Colleen Glasscock; boyfriend, Chad Reasoner; sister, Rita (Jayson) Caldwell; brother, Larry Warren; grandchildren, Jayden Chism, Liam Chism, Drake Chism, Payton Speikes, Da’Vion Speikes, Ezekiel Glasscock, Drica Banks, Christopher Hardin, and Chloe Hardin; and great-grandson, Cohen Hardin.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Vina (Willis) Rainey.
The family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Lisa’s life will begin at 4:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
