Lydia (Lopez) Sanchez, 81, of Marion, passed away at 6:45 am on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Marion Health. She was born in Pharr, Texas, on Thursday, July 9, 1942, to Benito and San Juanita (Sanchez) Lopez.
Lydia was a homemaker who loved her family. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and her flowers.
She is survived by her children, Rachel Sanchez of Marion, Raul (Angela) Sanchez, Jr., of Marion, Corina Guerrero of Harlingen, TX, Jaime (Carol) Sanchez of Marion, Magdalena (Daniel) Minnick of Muncie, Gigi (Truman) Turner of Fairmount, and Guadalupe (Shelly) Sanchez of Marion; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Inurnment will take place at a later date at Grant Memorial Park, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.
