Margaret “Ann” Adrianson, age 82, of Gas City, Indiana, passed away on October 12, 2024. Born on August 27, 1942 to Ernest and Margaret (Wood) Johnson. Ann led a life marked by dedication to her family.
Ann graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1960 and went on to build a fulfilling career at various employers including Marion General Hospital in the laboratory, RCA, and eventually retiring from Owens Illinois/PCA. Her professional life was characterized by hard work and commitment to excellence.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ann was deeply committed to her personal interests and hobbies. She cherished her family and adored her various pet cats and dogs over the years. Her hobbies included crocheting, reading, gardening, and bird watching, activities that reflected her love for the simple joys in life. She also relished the time spent with her grandchildren, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life.
Ann was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She leaves behind a loving family: husband, Arthur Adrianson; her daughter, Luanne (Mike) Tibbets; son, Lee (Jill) Adrianson; stepdaughters, Cindy (Mike) Aurs and Vickie (Jim) Hamilton. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Sean (Odessa) Wallace, Skylir (Carissa) Adrianson, Lauren Tibbets, Leslie Tibbets, and Kylee Adrianson; as well as her great-grandchildren, Vaughn, Reighn, Declan, and Lottie Wallace. She is also survived by her brother, Jim Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Margaret (Wood) Johnson.
Ann’s life was a testament to her enduring love for her family and her unwavering commitment to her passions. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind memories filled with love and warmth.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Ann’s life will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery.
