Marie E. Rigdon, 74, of Marion, passed away at 2:06 pm on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Marion Health. She was born in Anderson, Indiana, on Tuesday, January 31, 1950, to Raymond and Ruby (Swafford) Reason.
Marie graduated from Paradise Valley High School in Arizona and attended Ivy Tech. She was a member of the Moose.
Marie was a homemaker throughout her life and loved her family. She was devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marie is survived by her children, Kevin (Kim) Rigdon of Marion, Nancy (Chris) Rigdon of Marion, Vicki Rigdon of Marion, and Bobby (Michele) Rigdon of Marion; grandchildren, Brandon, Scott, Brittany, Nick, Alex, and Gabby; 17 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lora (Glen) Gainey of Noblesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Stacie; and great-grandson, Devon.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service for Marie.
