This from fox59.com: MARION, IN — The Marion Police Department has arrested a woman for drug dealing resulting in death.
According to MPD, officers were called to the 3800 block of South Landess Street in Marion around 8:21 a.m. Thursday to assist an unconscious person. When police arrived at the scene, they found 36-year-old Aaron Browning unresponsive.
The Grant County Coroner’s Officer later pronounced Browning dead.
While MPD was investigating, detectives said they found “blue round pills (M30) at the scene.” The pills field tested positive for fentanyl and were sent to Indiana State Police for additional testing.
Through its investigation, MPD discovered Browning had contacted 44-year-old Amanda Adams of Marion. In an interview, Adams confessed to giving the pills to Browning.
Adams was arrested on the following preliminary felony charges:
- Dealing a Schedule I, II or III controlled substance resulting in death
- Dealing a Schedule I, II or III controlled substance
The Grant County Prosecutor’s Office will make final charging decisions in Adams’ case.
