Michael Lane Featherstone was born January 31, 1972 and gained his angel wings February 10, 2025. He was 53 years old. He had his loved ones by his side.
He was born in Kokomo, Indiana to David and Judy Featherstone, they preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are his in laws, Henry and Vicki Shell. He had a brother-in-law, Bill Shell, sister-in-law, Kristy Hegel, and nephew, Kyle Page that preceded him also.
He is survived by his wife, best friend, and soulmate of 30 years, Leanne Featherstone. He is also survived by his son, Jake (Brittany) Walker and daughter, Jami Stewart. He had 6 grandchildren; Maddy (his princess), Ezra, Raylan, Liam, and Mason. He is survived by his 2 brothers, Rusty and John, sister-in-law, Shirley (Tim) Page and brother-in-laws, Lee and John. His nieces and nephews, Nikki, Deven, Gulen, Izic, Erica, Zane, Hannah, Emily, and Clay. He made a big impact on people that he talked to. He loved his dogs, Daisy and Sara.
He loved to hunt, go camping, talk about guns, even build them, and he made homemade knives.
Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. The funeral service will follow at 1pm with Pastor Jeff Sumner officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
