Michael “Mike” Lee Clark, 70, Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Cape Coral Hospital. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, December 22, 1953, to the late Lawrence "Lonnie" and Edith (Prickett) Clark.
Mike was a 1972 graduate of Marion High School and never quit rooting for the Marion Giants basketball team. He was also an avid supporter of the Indiana Hoosiers basketball team and had the opportunity to see the Hoosiers play a few times.
Mike loved going to car shows and his baby was a 1966 Dodge A-100 van that he had proudly displayed at car shows since 2004. He was a professional musician for many years and performed in many bands, including Vice Squad, Borrowed Time Band, and The Answer Band (Stage name Mad Man Mike).
Mike was most proud of his “Man Cave” in his Florida home. It’s decorated with anything and everything a man could want!
Mike retired in 2018 after many years of working in sales and on cleaning crews.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda (Seavers) Clark of 43 years; brother, Gene Webb and niece Kimberly Maiocco of Florida; mother-in-law, Jean Payne of Cape Coral, Florida; brothers-in-law, Kent (Robyn) Seavers and Kevin (Helen) Seavers of Marion; sisters-in-law, Julie Seavers of Marion and Holly Retz of Columbus, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; as well as many friends who are just like family.
