Musical Conexion Program presented to students

Wabash, IN– Honeywell Arts & Entertainment presented the Musical Conexion Program on May 7 and 9 at the Wabash Middle School Auditorium for LH Carpenter Early Learning Center pre-K and kindergarten students. Musical Conexion is a monthly bilingual educational enrichment program, cultivating motor skills and cognitive development through music, as well as empathy and appreciation for cultural diversity. Students performed songs such as La Casita (I Have a Little House), El Auto de la Risa (Laughing Car), Al Son Del Cocodrilo (Crocodile Song), and more.
The evening was led by Musical Conexion Director Cote Godoy. Godoy has received national recognition for his songwriting, worked as a coordinator of children’s music programs, and is a Musician and Healing Artist for adults and children at NE Indiana’s largest regional hospital.
An offering of Honeywell Arts & Entertainment, Honeywell Arts In Education is a collection of programs created for educators to reap developmental benefits in the classroom. The program provides more than 51,000 student interactions across 14 counties
and 85 schools in Indiana annually and is offered at little or no cost to the schools. These programs are made possible by generous supporters of Honeywell Arts & Entertainment, a nonprofit charity dedicated to providing arts, education, and entertainment for all.
The Honeywell Musical Conexion Program is made possible through the generosity of funders such as the Community Foundation of Wabash County, the Good Deeds Grant, and the Flagstar Foundation.
