“At Northfield, we try really hard to give as many students as possible experience in the art competition process. That is why we enter a number of competitions and have the entries we do every year,” stated Adam Zwiebel, Northfield Art Teacher. “I am extremely proud of my students’ creativity and drive because this is the largest number of pieces we have ever submitted to Scholastics. I am very excited to see Northfield students’ work on display at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, which is the premier art museum in Northern Indiana. Wish us luck as our students’ work heads to the National level judging at Carnegie Hall in New York City.”
The Scholastics Art Competition has long been a platform for young artists to gain national recognition. Northfield’s success underscores the strength of its art program and the promising futures of its student artists.
