Pamela J. Coryell, 70, of Fairmount, passed away peacefully in her home on November 14, 2024. She was born in Kokomo and was a 1973 graduate of Taylor High School.
Pam was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed her time working at Marsh Supermarket prior to her retirement. She was always a volunteer at school and sports programs while her children were growing up. She enjoyed attending car shows (Ducktail and many others) with her husband, Keith, and her countless number of friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed laughing with her family and friends. Pam was an avid crafter, always working with her fabric and plastic canvas making things for her loved ones.
She is survived in death by her husband of 52 years, Charles “Keith”; sons, Brian (Darcie), Kevin, and Scott; grandchildren, Kylee (Justin) Schroeder, Brendon, Caleb, Alex, Mason McCorkle, Kendall McCorkle, Austin, and Liliana; brothers, Steven (Sandy) Hunt and Michael Hunt; sister, Susie Anglemeyer; and several nieces and nephews.
Pam is preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Day; step-father, Eugene Day; and father in-law, Robert Coryell.
The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, there will be a short funeral service at 3:00 pm to celebrate Pam’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to Gilead Ministries, 212 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN 46952, in Pam’s name.
