Pamelia Jean Law-Bailey, 72, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 6:47 pm, Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on May 26, 1952, in Wabash, to Bose Jr. and Syble Bertie (Cushman) Law.
Pamelia married Marvin Jay Bailey in Wabash on August 27, 1999. She sold elephant ears and funnel cakes for more than 40 years. Pamelia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, taught Sunday School, worked in the nursery, and had a strong faith. She loved spending time with her grandkids, decorating at Christmas and holidays, sewing, and collecting angels. She served on the Haynes Apperson Fair Board.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Jay Bailey of Wabash; seven children; Misti (Jack) Holley of Wabash, Nicholas (Danielle) Eccles of Reynolds, Indiana, Tristi Eccles-Riendeau of Wabash, Bill (Miachel) Eccles of Madison, Indiana, Amy (Troy) Stempfley of Idaho, Brian Eccles of Fairmount, Indiana, and Eric Eccles of Naples, Florida, six stepchildren; Byron Bailey of Jonesboro, Indiana, Daniel Bailey of Angola, Indiana, Rachel Bailey of Portland, Oregon, Jon Bailey of Angola, Indiana, Jenny Bailey of Jonesboro, Indiana, and Julie Bailey of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Jack Holley III, Justin (Jaclyn) Holley, Jordan (Kelsey) Holley, and Jared Holley, all of Wabash, Devan (Trever) Holeman of LaFontaine, Indiana, Darian (Dalton) Fleck and Nichole Eccles, both of Reynolds, Indiana, Robert Wayne Long III, Raygan Victoria (Ethan Larason) Plothow, Gavin William Richard (Alexis Dewey) Plothow and Rhylan Gabrielle Riendeau, all of Wabash, Billy Eccles Jr. and Kylie Eccles, both of Madison, Indiana; great grandchildren: Jack Holley IV, Leo Holley, Ava Holley, Addison Holley, Callie Holley, Peyton Holley, Jimmy Holeman, Logan Holeman, Benjamin Fleck, Grady Fleck, Kyson Plothow, Jaxon Plothow, and Hazelyn Plothow; brothers and sister, Ronald Law of Gas City, Indiana, Diann (Mitch) Miller of Marion, Indiana, and Carl (Bonnie) Law of Woodbridge, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepson, David Bailey; stepdaughter, Rebecca Willis; and her brother, Donald Law.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 22, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Bishop Reid Christiansen of the Huntington First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Friends may call from 12:30 - 2:00 pm, Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, November 25, at 11:00 am.
