Wabash, IN- Visit Wabash County is pleased to announce the release of two fun,
first-of-its-kind, interactive kids tours. The Parks Trolley Tour will go on sale to the public
online at www.visitwabashcounty.com and in person at the Welcome Center on May
21 at noon. The tours will take place on Saturday, June 19, with the first tour starting at
4:00 PM and the second tour starting at 5:30 PM. These all-inclusive tours cost $5 per
adult and $3 per child.
“Partnering with the City of Wabash Park Superintendent Adam Hall on a tour
highlighting the park system has been a joy,” said Jennifer Long-Dillon, tourism manager
for Visit Wabash County. We are excited to share the history and engage with trolley
riders in a new way.”
Meet Jennifer Long-Dillon and Daisy Sparks, experiences coordinator for Visit Wabash
County at the Woman’s Clubhouse to hop on board Trolley No.85. The first stop on the
tour is historic Hanna Park. The second stop introduces Deanna Unger at Paradise Spring
Historical Park where guests will experience interactive activities. Additionally, guests will
ride the trolley on the paved greenway and hear the magnificent history in detail about
Paradise Spring and its significance. The final stop takes riders to the Wabash City Park.
Superintendent Adam Hall will share the location of a secret cave and talk about the
upcoming future of the Wabash City Park System. Finaly, return to the Woman’s
Clubhouse for more games, activities, a special gift, and ice cream provided by White
Rock Recreation.
“This is the first trolley tour that I have had the pleasure of helping plan,” said Sparks.
“The support from the Ronald Woodward Foundation allows us to keep the ticket price
low and still create an educational program that is packed full of fun.”
The tour requires very little walking and is rain or shine. Ronald Woodward Foundation is
