Patricia M. Nash

Patricia M. Nash, 80, Marion, passed away at 5:35 am on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born in LaFontaine, Indiana, on Tuesday, August 17, 1943, to Morris Leo and Sarah Mae (Stair) Heiser.  She was married to Robert E. Nash, who preceded her in death on November 15, 2002.

Patricia graduated from LaFontaine High School and was a member of Gas City Moose Lodge Chapter 1514.  She worked 25 years at Tulox Plastics and then 13 years as a CNA at the VA Hospital until her retirement.  She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, doing crafts, and flower arrangements.  

Survivors include her daughter, Sandi (Ronnie) Pattison of Marion; son, Robert (Mary) Althouse of Jonesboro; granddaughters, Julene Humes of Noblesville, Monica (Johnny) Benfield of Marion, Chelsea (David) Hall of Kokomo, and Lexi (Mitch Nelson) Althouse of Pendleton; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Louise Sheetz of Ingalls; sister-in-law, Rosemary Heiser of LaFontaine; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ralph Heiser; sister, Mary Smith; and brothers-in-law, Harold Sheetz and Gene Smith.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Patricia's life will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.  Burial will take place at LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
