Paul Andrew Johnson, 53, of Swayzee, passed away at 10:19 pm on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Marion Health. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, May 9, 1970, to Richard and Mary Johnson. On May 1, 2015, he married Chasity Whelchel, who survives.
Paul attended Marion High School and University of Phoenix. Paul had a real passion for cooking and cooked for the Swayzee Community Church. He enjoyed home improvement projects and artistic projects of many kinds. He will be remembered as a very kind and loving soul. He did his best to go above and beyond every time he did something..
Paul is survived by wife, Chasity Johnson of Swayzee; sons, Cody A. Johnson of Swayzee, Matthew B. Johnson of Marion; daughter, Ashley M. Johnson of Muncie; brothers, David (JoAnn) Johnson, Dennis (Loraine) Johnson, Frosty (Lisa) Johnson; sister, Marianne Johnson; several nieces and nephews; former wife, Belinda Johnson; and friend, Dalton Downing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard F. and Mary L. Johnson.
At Paul's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
