Peggy Louise Miller, 75, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 10:30 pm, Friday, April 26, 2024, at The Waters of Wabash East, with her family by her side. She was born on June 21, 1948, in Wabash, to Marvin B. and Virginia Lois (Ranck) Pressler.
Peggy was a 1966 graduate of Southwood High School. She married Harold Miller in Wabash on May 25, 2002. She worked as a teller at Beacon Credit Union in Wabash for over 20 years, retiring in 2010. Peggy was a member of the Church of Christ at Treaty. She enjoyed being outside and gardening. Peggy was an avid IU Basketball fan. She especially loved her grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting events.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Miller of Wabash; two children, Steve (Lori) Heath of LaFontaine, Indiana, and Lora (Chris) Cartwright of Andrews, Indiana; step daughter, Angela Garrett of Conyers, Georgia; four grandchildren, Haley (Alex) Hunter and Taylor Heath, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, Carson Heath of LaFontaine, and Cash Cartwright of Andrews; step grandchildren, Joshua (Whitney) Garrett of Pickerington, Ohio, and Tyler (Casey) Garrett of Conyers; great grandson, Joel J. Hunter of Indianapolis; 5 step great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Weiss and brother, Randy (Terri) Pressler, both of Wabash. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Ryan Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 9:30 - 11:00 am Saturday, at the funeral home.
