Ralph A. Conley, 78, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 12:13 pm, Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Aperion Care in Peru. He was born on November 7, 1946, in Lackey, Kentucky, to Dennis and Hazel (Wicker) Conley.
Ralph married Ula V. Stanley in Wabash on September 10, 1965; she died April 6, 2010. He was a paratrooper in the US Army, and retired from Ford Meter Box in Wabash after 33 years. Ralph was a member and former deacon of Southside Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed cutting wood, gardening, scrapping, and loved his Pugs. Ralph’s grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved spending time with them.
He is survived by two daughters; Tonya (Jay) Eviston and Tina Fletcher, both of Wabash, five grandchildren; Cami Floyd of Wabash, Brynna (Brandan) Lawson of Lake Villa, Illinois, Brittany (Brad) McCord, Austin (Mariaha) Osborne, and Trinity Frazier, all of Wabash, 11 great grandchildren; Canydee, Cazlynn, Kaisan, Graysan, Kinlee, Lailynn, Haizlee, Karter, Zaydan, Knox, and Krew. He was also preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Ronnie Fletcher, two brothers, Paul Conley and Bill Conley, and two sisters, Sally Begley and Anna Correll,
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Tim Webb officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 1:00 – 2:00 pm, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Southside Free Will Baptist Church.
