Rebecca “Becky” R. Burcroff, 71, of Gas City, passed away at 5:26 am on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Marion. She was born in Frankfort, Indiana, on Sunday, August 8, 1953, to Billie and Berniece (Robbins) Uncapher. On March 3, 1974, she married Todd L. Burcroff, loving him and putting his needs first.
Becky graduated from Blackford High School and attended Kentucky Mountain Bible Institute for a short time. She worked for RCA in Marion for 31 years. After RCA closed, she worked for Indiana Wesleyan University for several years as the housekeeper for the president.
Becky attended Jefferson Christian Church in Upland for nearly 29 years before entering a nursing facility for about four years. She loved to help others, give people rides to church, and was a song leader. She also loved reading very in-depth books, yet she was always laughing and joking with her sisters.
Becky was a very sweet, loving woman and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Todd L. Burcroff of Gas City; son, Brent (Eve) Burcroff of Dubai, United Arab Emirates; siblings, John M. Uncapher, L. Jonathan Uncapher, Naomi Richard (Dan) Stephen Uncapher, and Judith Wampler; brothers-in-law, Jay (Diane) Burcroff and Tim (Caroline) Burcroff; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Billie E. Uncapher, Valentine Daniel Uncapher, Eunice R. Uncapher, Samuel Uncapher, and David J. Uncapher; sisters-in-law, Missy (Butler) Uncapher and Marie (Kennedy) Uncapher; brother-in-law, Douglas Wampler; and her dear mother-in-law, Juanita Burcroff.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
