Rebecca J. Guajardo, 81, of Marion, passed away at 6:17 pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, November 11, 1943, to Robert and Beverly (Mathias) Crowell. On October 15, 2010, she married Jesus “Jesse” Guajardo.
Rebecca graduated from Marion High School and worked as a CNA for many years with Aperion Care. Rebecca enjoyed cooking, shopping, and watching NASCAR and the Indianapolis Colts. She had a deep love for her dog, Colt, who was like a son to her. Above all, she loved Jesus.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Jesus “Jesse” Guajardo, Jr., of Marion; son, Robert Crowell of Greenwood; sister, Eva Haynes of Kokomo; friends, Dawn Bounds, Crissy Ross, Theresa Smith, and JJ; brother-in-law, Tomas (Carmen) Guajardo; sisters-in-law, Margie (Manuel) Ortega and Janie Guajardo; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Crowell, and her mother, Beverly Crowell.
A graveside service for Rebecca will take place at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Grant Memorial Park, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN. Pastor Dan Van Cise will be officiating.
