Rita Susan “Sue” Saint, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 30, 1952, in Bluefield, West Virginia, to Charles “T.C.” and Wilma Jean (Porter) Wingo.
She married Don “Mike” Saint on February 12, 1972 in Van Wert, Ohio. Sue worked at the Lighthouse Mission for 19 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church for 43 years. Sue was strong in her faith and involved in her church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Sue enjoyed cooking, reading, and traveling through the mountains of West Virginia, but especially spending time with her husband of 53 years, son, and grandchildren. She had compassion and a sensitive heart for those in need.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Don “Mike” Saint of Wabash, son, Michael (Lauren) Saint of San Antonio, Texas, four grandchildren, and two brothers, Thomas (Maudie) Wingo of Van Wert, and Steve (Wanda) Noel, of Crofton, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Terry Wingo and Todd Wingo.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church, 129 Southwood Drive, Wabash, with Pastor Todd Williams and Pastor Terry Hinds officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church.
