Robert Douglas Anderson, 55, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 10:05 am, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at his home. He was born on February 20, 1969, in Wabash, to Douglas and Teresa (Wireman) Anderson.
Robert was a graduate of Northfield High School. He worked for Wendts in Wabash several years. Robert has been working since he was 13 years old. He was a loving son and brother, and was always willing to put others before himself. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with his nieces and nephews, loved his family, but most of all he loved riding his Harley Davidson and loved his dog Max.
He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Teresa Anderson of Wabash; siblings, Rhonda Anderson of Lagro, Indiana, Henry “Hank” Pitts and Jennifer Anderson, both of Wabash; niece and nephews, Johnathan Anderson, Kevin Parke, Masen Parke, Zayden Anderson, Ashley Keppel, Aaron (Alison) Keppel, and Brandon Keppel; great nieces and nephew, Chloe Marsh, Trinity Thompson, and Weston Keppel; aunt and uncles, Thelma Isaac of Kentucky, Aaron Wireman of Elkhart, Indiana, Albert Wireman of Michigan, and James Wireman of Kentucky; and his dog Max.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm Thursday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
