Roxanna Lynn Roesly, 62, of Marion, passed away at 10:35 pm on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Marion Health. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Sunday, July 15, 1962, to George Roland and Linda (Ricks) Roesly, Sr.
Roxanna graduated from Hillsboro High School and received her associate's degree from Ivy Tech.
Roxanna thought education was very important. She liked to play Bingo, and she enjoyed watching Petticoat Junction and older TV shows. She loved her family and was willing to do anything to help them. Roxanna loved music and food, and she always had a cup of sweet tea in her hand. She also loved watching football and basketball.
Survivors include her daughter, Bridgette (David Staples) Saylors of Marion; grandsons, Jarred Saylors, Brandon Saylors, Silas Saylors, and Gunnar Staples; sisters, Dawn Marie Luke and Stacy Sue (Adam) Jordan; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, George Roesly, Jr., and David Roesly, Sr.
The family will have a Celebration of Life from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Jonesboro House of Prayer, 407 Glen St., Jonesboro, IN 46938.
