Sharon Kay Mays, 73, of Peru, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at Stillwater Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Sharon was born on June 21, 1951 in Peru, Indiana to David Case and Violet (Brooks) Pressley. On March 7, 1975 she married Gary Mays. Sharon enjoyed doing puzzle books. She liked deer, eagles, and horses. She also enjoyed watching paranormal shows such as “Ghost Adventures”.
She is survived by her husband, Gary, and her children Brian and Tonya Mays of Peru, Indiana. She is also survived by a sister, Lena Whetsel, of Peru. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Milton Case, Herman Case, John Case, and Mary Shanabarger.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the First Church of the Nazarene, 331 West Sixth Street, Peru, Indiana. The funeral service will follow at 11am with Pastor Mark Elliott and Pastor Tony Winter officiating.
