Sheila I. (Smull) Clouse

Sheila I. (Smull) Clouse, 72, Marion, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on June 18, 1952, to Kenneth and Wyoma (Evans) Smull.  On April 1, 2011, she married the love of her life, J. Greg Clouse.  

Sheila graduated from Marion High School in 1970 and worked at Southway Animal Hospital for almost 40 years. She and her husband enjoyed riding motorcycles and had ridden to over 12 states. Sheila loved her family, especially her son, KC.  She looked forward to talking to him on the telephone every night. Sheila was a very kind and loving soul, very selfless, always put others first, and so compassionate. She loved all living things, and animals were very important to her, especially dogs and cats. She really loved her dogs, Sophie and Poncho, and will be missed by all of the animals that were in her life. She was a wonderful sister to Jodi and has left a gaping hole in her life.

Survivors include her husband, J. Greg Clouse; son, KC Loer; sister, Jodi (Lin) Martin; nephews, Craig (Maryrachel) and Kyle (Elise) Martin; brother, Tem Smull; niece and nephew, Channel Wyatt and Clint Smull; great-niece, Charlotte Martin; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Wyoma Smull.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Sheila's life will begin at 7:00 pm with Pastor Jim Sonnefield officiating.  Burial will take place at a later date at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
