Sheri L. (Davis) Maciel, 51, Tipton, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Compassus Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on November 25, 1972, to Robert and Linda (Tinkle) Davis. On August 19, 1995, she married Gerardo Maciel.
She graduated from Marion High School in 1991. Sheri worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant most of her life. She started her career in Marion at North Gate Village but worked most of her life at River Walk in Noblesville. She also worked for Noblesville schools and most recently, worked at Tipton Elementary School. More than anything, Sheri loved her family.
Survivors include her husband, Gerardo Maciel; four sons, Gerardo Maciel, Jr., Gabriel Maciel, Felipe Maciel, and Emilio Maciel; grandchildren, Chloe Maciel and Blake Maciel; parents, Robert and Linda Davis; sister, Michelle (Jaye) Heter; niece, Brittany Heter; and mother-in-law, Dolores Maciel; and several extended family members.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Sheri's life will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
