Steven Farrell Harden, 65, Windfall, passed away at 8:45 am on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Riverview Health Hospital in Noblesville. He was born in Tipton, Indiana, on Saturday, January 31, 1959, to Harold "Dutch" and Ruth (Adams) Harden. On April 7, 1979, he married Jody Smay and she survives.
Steven attended Windfall High School and worked for several years with the Indiana State Highway Dept. He was a member of Greater Life Church. He liked to go "deer shopping" and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and playing cards. He also liked to go fishing and scrapping. One of his greatest joys was doing anything that involved his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his daughter, Linda (Boyd) Long of Windfall; son, Greg (Cyndi) Harden of Windfall; grandchildren, Carlie Harden, Elijah Harden, and Kelsie Harden; brothers, Dewey (Jean) Harden of Sharpsville, Michael Harden of Tipton; and mother-in-law, Sharon Smay; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold "Dutch" and Ruth Harden; brother, Robert Harden; sister, Brinda Grimme.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Greater Life Church, 950 E. 00 N. S., Greentown, IN.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Steven's life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Greater Life Church. Pastors Eric Hall and Micah Mouser will be officiating with burial following at Brookside Cemetery.
