Susie Irene Fultz, 76, Hartford City, passed away in her home at 5:10 pm on Saturday, July 13, 2024. She was born in Fairmount, Indiana, on Tuesday, August 19, 1947, to John and Lulu (McGraw) Moon. She married Larry A. Fultz on November 9, 1968 and he preceded her.
Susie graduated from Fairmount High School and worked as a Corrections Officer for the Blackford County Sheriff's Dept,. She loved her dogs, Bailey and Rascal. She liked to fish, cook and play Words With Friends. Ultimately, she loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandkids and great-grandkids. She really enjoyed the simpler things in life.
Survivors include her sons, Gary (Tasha) Fultz of Hartford City, Jim (Judy) Carey of Upland, Larry A. (Kimbery) Fultz, Jr. of Wabash; grandchildren, Cody (Sarah) Burtner, Cara (Michael) Mobley, Tyler (Kathleen) Kirtley, Larry Fultz III, Randall (Bryleigh) Fultz; great-grandsons, Mikey Mobley, Merick Mobley, Coltin Mobley, Asher Mobley; great-granddaughters, Willow Mobley, June Burtner; sister in law Linda Paul; best friend, Terri (Bob) Graham of TN: and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lulu Ann Moon; husband, Larry A. Fultz, Sr.; great-grandson, Carson Burtner; and siblings, Margie Zeggler, Carl Moon, Johnny Moon, Eddie Moon, Don Moon, Herschel Moon, Jerry Moon, Wayne Moon, and Becky Laypool.
A graveside service will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Jefferson Cemetery in Upland, Indiana. After the service, her family and friends will gather at the home of Gary and Tasha Fultz to remember Susie and celebrate her life.
