Tara D. McCain, 50, Marion, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at her home in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on September 26, 1973, to Mary McCain.
Tara graduated from Marion High School in 1991 and worked at Walmart Distribution for 15 years. She loved playing with her grandchildren and playing on her tablet. She also loved spending time with her family, especially cooking for her family. Tara was an amazing mother. More than anything, she loved her children.
Survivors include her children, Jodasha McCain and Javon McCain; brothers, Erick (Lisa) McCain and Shon (Erica) McCain; grandchildren, Donovan McCain, Jaiden McCain, and Kylani McCain; nieces, Jalissa, Hope, Jordyn, Shawnicce, Jayla, and Aubrey; nephew, Dashon; daughter-in-law, Kylee Horton; and a host of extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her cousin, Steffon Bobson.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Tara's life will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
