Terry L. Burns

Terry L. Burns, 74, of Wabash, Indiana, died Sunday, February 2, 2025, at his home.  He was born on July 6, 1950, in Wabash, to Lorenzo “Lonnie” and Ella Mae (Russell) Burns.

Terry was a 1968 graduate of Wabash High School and in recent years, he loved meeting up with his classmates, on Mondays, for coffee. He also attended classes at Indiana University.  He retired from Northern Indiana Public Service Company, and also owned a home insulation company and Antiques Unique. Terry was an avid antique fan collector, was a longtime member of the Antique Fan Collectors Association, and has several of his prized antique fans displayed in the Fanamation Museum in Zionsville, Indiana. He was also an avid collector of fine cowboy hats. Terry loved traveling for vacation, with Colorado being his favorite. He also enjoyed camping and flea markets.

He is survived by his former wife, Beverly Burns of Wabash; his children, Rick (Debra) Burns of North Manchester and Stephanie (Bob Hull) Burns of West Chester, Ohio; four grandchildren. Keaton (Eli) Stwalley-Burns, Kelsey (Jordan) Holley, and Karsen (Kaitlyn Brown) Burns, all of Wabash, and Aiden Burns of West Chester; great-grandson Peyton; siblings, L. Dwayne Burns of Wabash and Linda (Steve) Alexander of Sharpsville, Indiana; loving life partner and caretaker, Lynn Davis Best of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a Celebration of Life from 2-6 pm Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
