Thomas “Tom” David Swan, 81, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Miller’s Merry Manor. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana, on August 13, 1943, to Kenneth and Mary (Strahle) Swan.
Tom was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed traveling and listening to country music. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and had gone to many baseball games in the 1980s with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife, Peggy Swan; son, Tracy Swan; brother, Kenneth Dale (Sarah) Swan; sister, Diana Kay; and his dog, Josie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Teresa Swan; son, Tom Swan, Jr.; and sister, Dixie L. Craig.
At Tom’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
