Tracy D. Miller, 58, of La Fontaine, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Monday, March 14, 1966, to George and Nancy (Isenhour) Miller. He married Tamara “Tammy” (Long) Miller on August 31, 1990, and she preceded him in death on March 17, 2016.
Tracy graduated from Marion High School in 1984 and was a stocker for Marsh Supermarket in Marion for many years. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering in his home. He also liked spending time at Charlie’s Donuts and More in LaFontaine. He was a good cook and made excellent peanut butter fudge and turtles. He had a collection of pig statues. Tracy was a silly, kind, and charismatic man who will be missed dearly.
Survivors include his father, George Miller; son, Ty (Keyli) Miller of Jonesboro; daughter, Tiffanie Miller of LaFontaine; granddaughter, Maelyn Miller; sisters, Becky (Mike) Bridges of Jonesboro and Lisa (Forest) Johnson of Marion; brother, Bill Miller of CO; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and his dogs, Hommer, Gizmo, and Maggie May.
He was also preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Miller; sister, Monica D. Miller; and brother-in-law, Thomas “Matt” Long.
Family and friends may gather at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Faith Apostolic Church, 902 W. 16th St., Marion, IN. A Celebration of Life for Tracy will take place at 1:00 pm. Rev. Clarence Hand will be officiating.
