PERU, IN- Recently, Sergeant Josh Ulery was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Lieutenant Ulery is a 17-year veteran of the Peru Police Department serving in the Peru Police Department Detective Division. During Lieutenant Ulery's career, he has served as a patrol officer, Sergeant, Shift Lieutenant, and Detective Sergeant. In addition to investigating criminal offenses, Lieutenant Ulery has served the department as a narcotics detective and is currently the Peru Police Department Pension Board Secretary, leading the hiring initiatives for the department. Lieutenant Ulery is a graduate of Peru High School and a graduate of the 163" Session of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. He resides in Miami County with his wife, Becky, and their three children.
