United Way brings Vegas Night to Miami County

PERU, IN – The United Way of Miami County announced it will kick off its 2024 Annual Fund Campaign with a Viva Las Vegas themed event on Saturday, August 24 at Milestone Event Center. Attendees will each receive $50 in chips to play blackjack, roulette, and craps. All gaming tables will feature professional dealers, and the guest with the most chips at the end of the evening will win a $100 cash prize. The evening will also feature live music by Kyle Johnson, a plated dinner, desserts, and prizes for the best dressed. The auctioneer for the live auction and paddle raise will be Indiana Representative Ethan Manning.

The proceeds from the evening and the online silent auction will fund United Way’s local initiatives focused on food insecurity, early childhood development, mental health, community safety, Y Transit, and education.

“Thousands of children and adults in Miami County rely on the United Way for critical support services and resources. By attending the event, individuals can further our efforts to build a stronger, healthier community. We promise it will be a memorable night for all who attend,” promised United Way President Melissa Hicks. Individual tickets and tables of 8 are available online at https://www.uwmiamip.org/viva-las-vegas-gala.
