Wabash, IN – Selected artwork for the inaugural Next Generation: University Art exhibit presented by Honeywell Arts & Entertainment will be on display at the Clark Gallery in the Honeywell Center from December 11 through January 22. The exhibit will showcase the talent and creativity of higher education
students across Indiana; 112 pieces were entered, and 55 were chosen to be displayed. A public reception will take place on Wednesday, January 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the Honeywell Center, where awards will be announced. Reception reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 260.563.1102

The judges of the inaugural competition were Danielle Winger of La Fontaine, Indiana, and Madiha Siraj of Indianapolis. Winger is a successful studio artist whose work has been featured in galleries worldwide, including Tokyo, Berlin, and Paris. She teaches children’s art classes at Honeywell Arts & Entertainment,
where she uses her love of creativity and the outdoors to inspire young artists. Siraj is a mixed media artist whose work explores the organization of patterns, repetition, and color through identity and belief. In her Shattered Tessellations and 99 Names for the One series, Siraj examines identity through cultural motifs as a first-generation Pakistani American.
