WABASH, IN— Returning for its 17th season in Downtown Wabash, Ind., the Downtown Wabash Farmers Market will open registration to new and returning vendors on Monday, March 11. The market specifically caters to local and regional vendors who exclusively sell all things handmade, homemade and homegrown. Vendors with goods and products aligning with these categories are encouraged to participate. The Downtown Wabash Farmers Market is a Downtown Wabash, Inc. event.
Vendor registration is open for 41 full-season spots, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Downtown Wabash Farmers Market vendor registration offers three tier options. Vendor tiers include: full season at $250 per vendor, two half seasons at $150 per vendor (May 11 to July 20; July 20 to September 28) and single drop-ins at $30 per vendor or a reduced rate of $25 for nonprofit vendors.
“I can't wait to see how diverse the vendor offerings at the market will be this year,” says Downtown Wabash, Inc.’s Downtown Coordinator, Carly Hawkins, who is entering her third year as the Farmers Market Manager. The market has continuously grown since 2022 in vendor booths, with both long-standing vendors and brand-new ones. I encourage vendors to apply as soon as registration is live, as space fills up quickly."
Vendors at the Downtown Wabash Farmers Market often include small businesses and local farms, bakers and artisans. The market contributes to Wabash’s economic development by offering an introduction to small business operations to those with an entrepreneurial heart.
The community is welcome to attend this free family-friendly, and dog-friendly event throughout the entirety of the season. Food vendors, live music and kid-friendly activities will be available at this season’s market.
